It’s been 9 days of running around and little sleep. August 20th was “A Tribute to a Fighter Pilot” at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, the 21st was “The Kaleidoscope Ball” for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, the 28th was “Tennis With the Stars” and today was a photo shoot (and a little silliness) with model, Natasha Terry. And of course, there’s the busy work that goes on during the week, writing the articles for the events, editing, etc., networking, letting the dog know I still love her after she got mad and ate the electric bill. Will Excel buy the excuse that I can’t pay the electric bill because “the dog ate it?”
I wouldn’t trade it though. Yes, while many have dates or other social things for a Saturday night, I’m working. But, they don’t meet the people I do, or see and experience these things. Sure it can be exhausting to be covering an event late one night and then get up at 6am to do another shoot. I would just rather be shooting than doing almost anything though. Besides, the dog hasn’t let me sleep in in two years anyway.
